Bob Seijas - You need to see this

I believe you wrote an article in the GCA Journal some time ago about rifles such as this. WORDOR I think. Note the sellers name "CPuller" Chesty Puller I would guess. :lol:

Guess if you put the bullet at an angle in the muzzle it wont go in as far they are quite a well made weapon would like to own one but.....Australian gun laws Sigh!

I wrote up that rifle in the GCA Journal at least 10 years ago, probably more. It's classic WARDOR and resurfaces periodically as the unfortunate current owner tries to Pass The Trash to some unsuspecting newbie who thinks he has found a treasure. I examined a M97 Trench Gun at the Houston show that had the same profusion of stamps and text, and even got to meet Mr. Dorill who was standing behind his table. The stamps he used on these guns were good enough to be real, maybe from an armorer's kit of some kind. He has since passed away.

That was the first thing I thought, the stamps were far too deep and clear for this to be good.

I see that David Carradine had been taken in with a rifle a lot like this one. Both IHC but different serial numbers.

I think his brother Kieth is a gun collector shooter.Perhaps a connection. Sad how David died. I liked his acting.

Keith hosted a lot of western cowboy shows on the Discovery channel I believe it was.Involved a bit of history of guns in the "wild west".
