Pedersoli Steamer
Good Evening. Buffalo Arms has this in stock and as I convert to Blackpowder, I would like to bring down the cleaning time for my rifles. Love the smoke, the smell, and the history but need to be able to clean quicker and save some time. Pricey but will go for it if there is some good feedback. Thanks, Randy.

Might well be fun to use, but I suspect it won´t be much of a time saver. I use an old Colman´s Mustard tin with a copper tube soldered on to a cut down case. A kettle of boiling water down the spout and a pull-through and the BP barrel is cleaned faster than on my .303 (and is mirror clean before oiling)

Thanks Patrick. I love blasting away with the Martini and with the 71/84 to the tune of 100 50-75 rounds each. I do not clean or use a blow-tube between rounds. Will the basic hot water / soap clean down to the metal in a reasonable time. Right now, with solvents and brushes, it takes many brush strokes and a few hours. Thanks, Randy.

Think that sufficient lube on and under the bullet helps. I blow through the barrel after about five or six rounds to moisten the crud and cleaning with soapy water takes less time than with my Enfield which uses nitro.
