First used in North Africa. It was still secret at the time.
An interesting variation I have not seen before . It has the top mounted swing left/right style rear sight but only the left side single front sight bracket. I wonder if it's super early or a limited production jumping between the open rear and peep sighted modles ? Does have the foregrip and wire wraped rear . I'd say an in-between .
