They're very hard to find. If you need a shooter barrel, why not have one machined up and keep the old one for the occasion you may sell it? We did a couple of barrels from 1903 barrels and they turned out about perfect. Even if you look on gunbroker, you'll only find a few parts right now.

For the 1941 Johnson, the hardware attached to the barrel is worth as much as the barrel. Locking bushing $30, front bushing $50, bayonet lug $40 and front sight $75, barrel 164.60. These are the Numrich/Sarco prices and they are out of locking bushings and barrel assy. I have seen higher prices on Gunbroker and ebay like $200 for the sight and $100 for bayonet lug, but I see the items up for sale over and over. Numrich shows $164.60 for a barrel assy, but no picture and none in stock. SEMI AUTO 1941 Accessories | Numrich Gun Parts I suspect assy means barrel and rear locking bushing, but no photo to tell. I also suspect that was the last price they charged, but no telling when that was. If you are interested in selling, let me know.

Then that tells the story. First off, I'd be surprised if Numrich barrels were anything more than just fit to shoot. Likely no rifling at all inside and lacking finish. Second, they don't have any so your argument has no ground.Quote:

Cheap shot. I gave the real market price for the parts on the barrel and identified which ones were not in stock. I alsl said the last listed price of $164 at Numrich has probably gone up. I never said what I was offering to pay.
Maybe you should try actually reading what was written?
