I know of a few like David Barnette and Charles in Bhama that can't get a E-mailed confirmation.
To the Moderators,
Are you backed up?
Need to know, so I can pass this on to some very needed/valued members.
Thank You

I've just been "appointed" so I don't have all the bells and whistles figured out, yet. I assume they are from the old Jouster forum - did they email their info as was mentioned on the post by the Moderator on the old forum?
Hi Rick,
Yes they were two of the top members from the old carbine forum.

Hi ... :beerchug:
No, not backed up at all.....
Now current after getting just 6 hours sleep in the last 48 hours and answering an incredible amount of technical request emails from new members. I think we did a pretty good job taking in over 1,200 new members on top of handling the over 4,000+ members we already had here.
In simple terms, there are a LOT of folks still showing in the color RED as "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation".
For more information .... Why can't I read the posts in any of the forums, or why is my name displayed in RED? (click here)
At the risk of sounding tired and cranky ....
There must be 25 users who have registered and provided invalid email addresses that have bounced back from their email providers. Some are marked "no such user", some are marked "rejected - user over quota" and finally some are marked that the user with that email address has been marked and designated as a spammer by his own Internet provider.
In any event, the system automatically sends out three (3) validation emails to anyone who registers. It does so over a period of several days. If it doesn't get an answer from any of those, it simply gives up trying.
If you know folks who say they haven't received a validation email from this site, then have them first check the link above and read it, as they may find their validation email in their "junk mail" box. Second, if they still can't find anything, then it's because the validation email was probably bounced back to us over several days because of one of the reasons shown above.
Have them send an email directly to cspadmin@milsurps.com and we'll check it against the "bounced" list.
Thank you and we appreciate everyone's patience during this transition period.
I will pass your info on.....
Now get some sleep.
Thank You

I am really amazed at how smoothly this whole thing has happened. All of us will undoubtedly be reaping some really positive benefits here shortly. First, the "Old Guard" were loyal enough to find CSP a new home - at no cost. Second, they set everything up, to include separate forums for every category. Third, the "New Hosts" have welcomed everyone with open arms and is working to make everyone feel at home. As a relatively new member of CSP, the info and the forum have been immensely helpful in me learning about a hobby that I have wanted to get involved in for a long time. Is it going to take a little more time for everyone to get registered and forum life back to normal? yea, but we are a patient group. Guess its kinda like a concert or football game - everyone can not get thru the ticket gates at one time, but we will all eventually get in.
Here's to all the people working behind the scenes so that all of us can enjoy a hobby :beerchug: Thanks folks!!!
Finally received my email confirmation. A big thanks to Charlie-painter777 and to the mods. Forgive me if it takes a while to feel at home here, I'm sure it won't take long and it sure is good to be back among friends. Look forward to many good carbine discussions. Best regards to all.

Hello David.
Hey Newsotlander! Have we figured out who Bubba-7 is? Roger is ostentatiously absent.
yes, I told him that he needs to change the name.
