American Historical Foundation Knives
I spend most of my time on the M1 Garand section of the forum. I know these commemorative type knives are not military collectables but thought that someone here might know something about them and if they have any resale value.
A member of a Marine Corps League Detachment that I belong to donated the knives to the Detachment to sell. They are all from the "American Historical Foundation". He offered to give the Det. 60 % of the proceeds. I was asked to try and sell them on Ebay or wherever.
None of the knives have any paperwork or boxes. We have four knives, each in a display box, as follows :
1.) A 2nd Marine Division Commemorative K-Bar
2.) A M7 (M16) Bayonet engraved " United States Marines Viet Nam"
3.) a U.S. Marine RECON commemorative engraved "SWIFT, SILENT,DEADLY"
modeled after the John Ek type commando knife
4.) A Marine Raider Stiletto. Commemorating the battle of Iwo Jima. This knife is part of the WW2 Victory Collection (War in the Pacific)
Any help would be appreciated in regards to what I should ask for these knives.
