GEWEHR 43 w/ scope and nickel 9mm Luger
In helping a friend inventory some guns, we ran across a GEWEHR 43 with a scope (one attached black leather lens cover). The rifle is in about 80% condition, numerous light stock scratches and dings. It has a magazine.
The 9mm Luger (1939 date) with magazine and black leather holster appears to have a non-original nickel finish, but looks to be in overall good condition.
I know little of military firearms and only gave these guns a cursory glance. Both look to be in good working condition, though I did not examine the bore of either gun. The guns are stored a good distance from my location; obviously another trip is in order to get additional information.
Based on my very limited descriptions, any ideas as to rough value ranges for such guns?
Thank you for responses.
