Unmarked Walther PP.
Have a chance to trade for the above mentioned Walther. It is unmarked except for the serial number, an an 'ac' suffix. Numbers on frame and slide do not match. GI put together? Is this a pistol that has any value to it or historical significance? Thanks.

An end of the war pistol. Could be of wartime mfgr or could be GI put together after the factory was captured.
Has some collector value, but not as much as a fully marked pistol. Also of less interest to many collectors.

Here it is, got it tonight. Magazine is marked 'WALTHER' and 'W'.

Looking at it made me wish I hadn't got rid of mine. They felt nicer than the PPK in my opinion and they'd make a nice little carry gun.

Just took it outside and fired two mags through it. Runs like a sewing machine!

It should, they were the best toymakers.

Collectible as it sets. Very nice. Any "improvements" will lower its collector interest/value.

I'm not sure what else one needs in term of markings. The "ac" is not the serial suffix bit rather the wartime code for Carl Walther, Zella-Mehlis, Thuringia
A gun that I would like to own, in spite of slide and body being a mismatch.
Is it a 7.65mm or 9mmk?
