Very, very neat picture. I'd love to know who all those guys are and how they finished out.
I'll bet the last rifle he inspected was an '03. You take the rifle from the man with your right hand, swing it across your front and down until the muzzle is at eye level. Then stick your left thumb in the open chamber to reflect light off the nail and look down the bore.
