1944 Sauer Personel Vehicle engine parts

Have a 1944 Sauer Swedish or Swiss Army personel carrier with four cylinder aluminum block engine that is going to be scrapped. Block, head and some other parts may be useable if someone is desperate to restore one somewhere but is missing key parts. Body and some outer parts have been picked over by hungry people looking for scrap to sell. Does anyone really need this block badly or should it be scrapped? contact haitideb@hughes.net as I don't monitor this site.
