Good Evening. Have had great success with my cartridge modification to the level of 80+% ignition. However, unlike my Dreyse, I have much more residue in the chamber after each shot. Nitrating the paper has been a great success but I am usually having to deal with a spent musket cap still in the chamber. Is this usual?
I have a Chamber brush on the shooting table and swab out after each shot. Is there a better way to deal with the cap. Thanks, Randy.
