No the title is not a typo :)
I'm aware that F.T.R. is Factory Thorough Repair but have come across references to No 4's being dispatched as F.T.F. as well as F.T.R. in the 60's
I'm not saying they were stamped F.T.F. but are logged as F.T.F. can someone give a definitive answer as to what F.T.F. stands for please ? (without guessing !)

In my day it meant Failure to Fire Kev, but I am sure someone will have the WW2 version of it;)
It has always been Failure to Fire for me.
Maybe if you can cite your references or the context it may help others to chip-in.
And FTF always related to heavy stuff such as Charlie G or Milan

That won't have armed itself in that short distance BUT.......... No matter how many times they tell you during the course, you never believe them. The 3.5 M20 rocket armed itself the moment it came out of the tube!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Scary.....
