It is just a shooter. The funny thing is below the serial number is a -X. Big Bubba says you have to take away ten from the serial number to get the real serial number. Can this be right? The serial number is 5,550,16x then the -X.
The strange thing is looking now at another Inland I have had for years is the same thing, another -X.
It is 5,557,46x-X. So I guess this is a common mark. No big deal. Anyone know who or when this was done?
I did find another one I have, It's a QHMC 4,800,01x-X. So I guess every manufacturer had these -X carbines.
Big Bubba says he has seen carbines with -C, -L and a -M. I think he has been drinking too much of his home brew.
I only have a few carbines and three of them have this -X. Strange.
