chinese SKS

I recently purchased a Chinese SKS and while cleaning al the cosomiline off I noticed a serial number m r 1685 on the receiver and 4333 mon the barrel. The receiver also has a faint 33 "below the stock". No 26 triangle but a diamond with a 3 in it. It also has a ton of maks along the base of the barrel and under the receiver. Some are circled,some are not. Some are numbers, some are apparently chinese symbols and some are letters. Some are not obvious as to what they are. It was imported by I.O. Inc. Has the blade bayonet. Any help on "id"ing this was be appreciated. Can send pictures but will have to wait until grandson comes by to show me how.

Methinks you may have a Russian, and not a Chinese. Some of the later Albanian imports are import marked as "China", but have Russian barreled actions.

Pictures will be the only way to tell for sure.
