I did not know these existed, it is an interesting product, but I do wonder what operating mechanism they used?
This comment from the M14 page of the website is interesting:
"With the receivers made of 100% U.S. Steel, a stronger barrel/receiver connection system and a proprietary “Battle Tough” magazine design that fits any .22 caliber magazine both factory and aftermarket, makes this gun a family heirloom to pass on generation after generation."
My wild guess is that they are using some variant or copy of a Ruger 10/22 action and magazine feed.
Any other knowledge out there?
It looks like a direct implementation of the Ruger 10/22 action. Look at it... Doesn't matter, short of a $1000 bill, I'd love one.
I fear that all they have is a couple of mock ups & a Facebook page. I am unable to find any dealer or distributor.

I think they were at the shot show. Not sure this could not be duplicated at home with a 10/22 and some Garand leftovers. A bit pricey but so were the STG-44 .22 clones when they first came out. Now they are $299.
If are a mocked up 10/22 action, as it does look to be the case, at least it could be expected to function reliably which is a definite plus. I would think a guy could pull off his own 10/22 "Garand" build but certain parts might be a bit difficult to clone, for example the .22 receiver cover that looks like the Garand bolt would require some creativity. Some guys are absolute artists at this but I am not one of them.
It does look like the may still be in the prototype/pre-production phase, especially on their "About Us" page, reads like a "seeking investors" sales pitch.
Something to keep an eye on.
I got to fondle them at SHOT SHOW last week. They are the real thing. Weight is comparable to a real M1 Garand. It comes with a 10 rd magazine that is attached forward of the trigger ( where the M14 mag would go). You can also use the Ruger banana mags if so desired. According to Kingston they are going to start shipping out product the end of this week. They have distributors in the NE, SE, Mid West. See their website for contact info. I don't remember what he said the retail is going to be on these. If I find my literature on them I will update here.
Once again, we'll be watching. Thing is, once they come to Canada, I'll bet they're better than $1000CDN which will be too much.
