I ran into a small pawn shop where they guy had a crate of M1 WW2 mags. Most are marked U for Saginaw steering gear? Fair condition some wear no dents and followers work. He was asking 10 bucks cash out the door each. I bought a couple what are these worth today?
You won't loose any money...a bunch of NOS magazines were recently sold via the CMP forum marketplace for between $15 to $20 shipped
At gun shows around here, guys ask about $15 for nice used ones. New in wrap - more like $20-$25. "U" marked is made by Union Hardware, not for any particular carbine maker. Rare ones go for a whole lot more. Do a search here for the rare ones, and then head back to the pawn shop to see what else is in that crate! :cheers: - Bob
I went through the crate, One IS I got it and one U for 20. I felt that it was not too bad a price.Quote:

Yes, as long as they're GI they're a pretty good price. I'd take all I could get...
