Help needed identifying Martini Henry barrel bands
Hi guys
I've got 3 barrel bands which, I suspect, went on Martini Henry rifles. The 2 smaller bands measure 35mm top to bottom. Does anyone recognise them and know on which rifles they went?
Any help be much appreciated.

ML Enfields, Sniders, M-H?
Stylistically, I reckon they could all have fitted on one or another of the P1853 or P1858 muzzle-loading rifles. Or the Sniders. If you have it, take a look at SAIS No. 20 ".577 Pattern Rifle Musket & Snider-Enfield".
I have the "family" of P1851, P1858, P1861, Snider 3, Martini-Henry IV and a genuine Kabul arsenal P1853 copy (not Khyber Pass!). If I were to remove all the bands and mix them up on the table that would be my weekend gone to sort them all out again.

That style is for use with band springs, not a through pin. Bands held by band springs either have a single locating hole for the lug on the spring or are held against the step in the woodwork by a step on the spring. Some plain bands were also held against the step in the wood by a pin through the wood in front of the band, not through the band.
