Who used this stock after the war?

Normally I haunt the Springfield and Lee Enfield section of this site, but I thought i'd give them another K98 to glare at in the safe (i've got a fairly nice S42 1937) so I picked up a cheap stock to begin a project. I was wondering who used the stock after the war, it has a rack number like a RC but I don't recall seeing the roundel on the butt, it also doesn't have the red shellac i've seen on RC's but its still greasy and has not been refinished for many years. there is a faint German marking the butt but no markings on the metal other than a SN on the sling band.

The clue, if any, is the roundel. A better photo is needed!

Thanks guys, I can make out a 'B' in the roundel, I'll get a better camera and take a macro of the roundel.

Kind of looks similar to the stock on my K98 which I was told was a Yugo refinish of a WWII era German stock... to be honest I didn't care to verify that claim, price was right, I needed one, and it fit. Not as shiny as that one though. The roundel on mine looks like it says "IA"

Picture of it on the stock itself if it adds anything, it looks a bit darker in person. Ignore the handguard, it was grabbed off the top of a parts pile as were the bands, cleaning rod, and strap. Recoil lug is very clearly finished over, bayonet lug has bluing similar to yours.
