Is one right in the middle of the pic and another directly below the first? Can't find the third...

I was only 20 or so feet away and by the time I got my camera out some had already disappeared. Think there was 8 or 9 altogether. Starting to worry about this covey, it seem to be getting smaller every year. The roosters outnumber the hens so I'll probably cull a few before the season ends, hopefully that will reduce the competition and the numbers will increase this spring. Not many truly wild quail left.
Went on my first quail hunt in probably 25 years last December. Pen raised, though. Wild coveys seem to have disappeared altogether in these parts. Did have the fun of about stepping on one covey! Just like the old days. Yow!
