Mauser 98 extractor interchange?

Will a standard 98 extractor work in a Yugo M48?
I know the bolt and action are shorter.

If no one answers before I get home I'll measure both and let you know. Would be a tidbit worth knowing. :thup:

I have a 48 that suddenly developed an ejection problem. I don't see anything wrong with it, but I know a local "smith" who may have a "normal" 98 extractor.
