Rust pitted receiver and rear sight collar made unnoticeable.

Being that my 1903 is definitely not a collector grade, I decided to make it more visibly pleasing to myself by covering all pitting with JB weld. People fix parts of their transissions with this so it's pretty strong. After I read of a gunsmith using it I decided to give it a shot. I know this can't be parkerized. It did dry to the exact color of my metal. Here is a before and after pic. I also did the side of the receiver photographed in my previous post but I did not take a picture od that area because I have to do some filing. I know this is only cosmetic but I hated seeing the pitting.
