is it some sort of trench periscope?
We had an old cardboard box containing about 10 spare prism and stem assemblies for those! All in original paper and card packaging.

You lucky devil! That's quite a find..........& beautifully marked up, too. I have one of the spare prism assemblies that a pal gave me many years ago, but that's all. It's a really fascinating piece of history that you've got there.
