Does anyone have a description or picture of the front mount where the scope bracket is attached to the barrel on these rifles? I know no one wants to disturb the zero or really take apart these rare rifles, but the knowledge library does not show show a No 3 with the handguard off like the P14 W (T) MKL's.
I am talking specifically about the Alex Martin No3 (T)A conversions and not the other types of P14/No3 T.
Hopefully all the P14 sniper guys don't hang out only the the enfield board!
What are you looking to find out on those? There is a picture of a reproduction base in the Knowledge Library entry, if this already answers what you were looking for:

Close: how does that base actually attach to the barrel?
You would need to remove the front sight, it's slided on the barrel like a collar and then had been soldered to the barrel. It's not using any screws or something differently.
Do you plan to do a copy of this mount?
Nope, I'm trying to find out if a sporterized P14 I spotted is/was a No 3 (T) A. It has some type of sleeve/collar that sounds similar soldered on the barrel.

Hard to say for sure but it looks an awful lot like an aftermarket Lyman or Marble's rear sight base.
If it were, it had been milled down badly. Do you have any other pictures of this rifle? Has the rear sight base been chopped down? And is the receiver Winchester made?
Like Promo states, the work done to the receiver (milling off of rear sight 'ears'), addition of scope bracket screw holes in the reciever, Winchester manufacturer, etc are going to tell you more about the rifle's pedigree than the barrel sleeve alone.
Sorry, been a little busy. Yes It is a Winchester, otherwise I would know better and it could not be a T rifle. The roundel and markings on stock were not even sanded off by bubba even though the poor thing is butchered. Doesn't seem to have any proof marks other than manufacturer and export/import, but here are some more pics finally. The odd thing that might disqualify it to me is it is lacking the horizontal hole on the left side for the rear of the scope bracket on the upper receiver up near where the ears used to be.
