Can anyone identify this

I have this recoil check but don.t have any idea what rifle it could be used on.
The bore diameter is about 10 mm and the barrel diameter is about 15 mm

Yes, that's the muzzle break or recoil check for the M1 Carbine...aftermarket of course, thus the Spain marking.

Thanks for the information, I used to own an M1 Carbine but never thought to try the recoil brake on it.

They don't do anything...one more thing to clean after shooting.

In my experience the M1 Carbine didn't need much recoil suppression, maybe the M2 could use it, thanks for the comments.
