Pattern 37 Bubba
Call me Bubba the seamstress.
I had a minty Canadian ZL&T holster with a tear in the flap. So I unstitched it, recut it to resemble a tanker holster, reversed it for left handed use, and sewed it all back together again. The retaining strap came off a modern replica Lee Enfield canvas case. The snap works fine but isn't the same quality of the original which I had to drill off. Would love to find better ones. I know they're out there somewhere.
I also used material from the replica case to make a left handed sheath for my Grohmann survival knife. And I re-covered my worn out kukri scabbard.
I "blanco'd" it all using Tarrago shoe cream mixed to Blanco shade 103, light green khaki.

Very nice work. The Kukri was a nice touch, I had to make a scabbard out of leather for mine. It sat here for 40 years and I finally got round to doing it... This knife was found in the field in Wainwright AB after the Ghurkas had ceased training and returned to home base...1976 I think.
