It's interesting to see American troops wearing Puttees.
I wonder if they aren't actually US troops. The Commandos had M1 rifles too...
Going through that jungle environment wraps were probably an adaptation borrowed from the Japanese. They would be much better at keeping little creepy crawlies out of your pant legs for sure!
The boots and kit is all wrong for Commonwealth troops. No hobnailed soles.Quote:
