Yugo 48 scout mount scope recommendations ?

Going to fit one of my Yugos with an S&K scout mount. Eyesight has gotten to the point that, even with glasses, I cannot get both front and rear sights in focus.

I have ZERO experience with LER scopes. What I have realized is that I will require one with "fat" primary cross hairs/post as this is what I have had to go to on my scoped .22's.

Experience/recommendations???
