I picked this up at a flea market because it was as new. Its marked Fulton MX991\U Made in USA. There are Three red one diffused clear and one sold white plus the clear lens in the head lenses. Two D batts and it works including the Morris feature. Is there a way to date this?
Well, they were issued to us in the '70's and in RVN in the '60's... There was a straight bodied one as well and there was a yellow and black version marked to Mines and Surveyors... I never did have much luck with them. Then came maglite.
I just picked up a Black one at a flea market for a buck. Missing the gasket but same thing, like new.

I just noticed, you're missing the gasket also.
I paid 10 for mine as new with box. I see them on ebay for around that but then ten shipping.

That's why once I had the chance I went to maglite. I use a two cell "C" now. Over in Yugo the were issuing a four cell "C" for common use...too big for infantry use though.Quote:
