Tula Panshin bayonet

The Panshin Bayonet was designed for use on early production 91/30's that had the front barleycorn sight. (1930 to early 1934). Most of these had there sight hoods removed as early 91/30's started to receive the upgraded front globe sights. Today these are not encountered very often and command a hefty price when they do come up for sale.

Is there likely to be any of this type of Panshin Mosin Nagant bayonet still remaining "undiscovered" in Eastern Europe or Russia or would collectors have to look "in the West" if they wish to obtain an example for their collection? I would expect Western dealers to charge a fairly hefty price for a rare bayonet such as this?

Undiscovered Caches of these, no, but I would think they are probably easier to find on that side of the pond. Most Panshin Bayonets in the US came mixed in with shipments of refurb's, or with early imports of Finn rifles or with SCW rifles in the early 60's
