My 55 Romanian Instructie M44 carbine looks like it was attached by a rabid beaver . Now in all honesty the Romanians where not likely to use pristine M44’s for training, but this rifle has had a very hard life . The stock has more than it’s share of dings, dents, (and teeth marks) and the bore is a sewer pipe, but it is all Romanian parts and is stamped “Instructie” on the butt stock along with the tell-tale red paint stripe.
