Flying10UK, I measured my DOT 1944 stock-- It is 39 3/4 inches. (from tip of bayonet lug to the butt end (just like your picture shows). Salt Flat
Looks like a bit of a fish eye pic.
I came across the picture online and it just looked a bit odd and so I compared it to a similar stock that I have. The one in the picture does look shorter when compared to the example that I have, especially in the centre area of the fore-end, but it may just be the picture.
Maybe just a cheaper lens, a cheaper phone pic...
Numrich has some short Kar98k stocks. Mauser 98K Yugoslavian Conversion Stock
Could be one of these. Maybe?Quote:
