PR NIGHTMARE
Solely out of interest, but IMHO one story to be avoided as it "does shoot someone in the foot" so to speak, by exposing units presence on the ground and tactics......and one has to ask where did these reporters get such a tall story from, certainly not from the Regiment??
Hero SAS sniper kills three ISIS terrorists with ONE bullet as single shot bounces back - Mirror Online
-
They have to strike at the myths surrounding the SASR & SAS to keep the public in awe with fanciful stories could be true but no one from there will say anything. I think the less said and known about them and other specialized units the better so they can get on with the business assigned to them.

As the report appears to have come from the Daily Star Sunday; I would not have any confidence in the authenticity of the story. Is not a real "news" paper!
-
Remember, news doesn't have to have any truth or reality to be news...it's just to sell papers.

Very true Jim "Sensationalism"
-
It reminds me of when Ole got a new hunting rifle and showed to his friend Sven. Looking through the powerful scope Sven tells Ole he can see his wife, Lena, with the postman. Ole tells Sven to shoot Lena in the head and to shoot the postman’s Johnson off. Sven replies, “I think it’s only going to take one bullet.”
-
:-D Nice joke. Poor guy that Ole.

Just my take but it would be very funny thing if the shot came from the Postmans rear........................ooops sorry Badger fell into the gutter:madsmile:
