"RayBar" front sight

I used an extra fluorescent plastic 'straw' to help aiming while wearing my eyeglasses.

I guess I'm confused by how a crosswise light pipe helps ? :confused:

I guess it shows where the tip of the foresight blade is?

I used a fishing line as a lubber line in my foresight for years, helped solve the elevation problems.
The horizontal sight line in foresights dates back to about 1864, first used by Viscount Bury.
