MG34/42- 250 round belt storage in Ammon tins?

Does anyone know how the German army, during WW2, stored it's 250 round belts, please? Was it one long length of 250 rnds which would seem logical or was it split into 5 sections of 50 runs belts, please?

I have never seen a 250-round Gurt 34, though they could exist, but have often seen 25-round and 50-round Gurt 34s linked (by inserting a cartridge into the loop formed by the end links). These would be then kept in the ammo can. In vehicles, often these cans (and belt/brass chutes) held/caught the used components. In contrast, I have seen 300-round PK belts as well as 25 and 50-round ones, the longer belts were used for Coax MGs inside armored vehicles.
