I do know it is a kit for a MK 111
single shot
Gunparts Corp in N.Y. sells these for $175.00 plus shipping . They have them made up every so often . For the British No.III action ,they work well .
I think it'll work fine as long as it fits. Might take a bit of fitting if not...but should be good. Yes, 50 or 100 m without problems.
The seller is a pro in france and does NOT have the reputation of selling fakes or copies,
the price of this is 800 euros,
his name is not AAS 98 etc.
I have 2 of these kits as sold by Gun Parts Corp. . Purchased the first one 5 years ago the second last year. They are the same as shown above they are not in anyway British issue . I have seen these sold on E-Bay by persons who have purchased them from Gun Parts Corps and relisted at 2 1/2 times the original purchase price . Please beware before you buy them as to what the seller is saying what they are .
I had one of these years ago and the accuracy was poor. Some people have had better luck with theirs.
For 800 euro's I'd just buy a .22 Enfield.....
I guess usefulness of these kits depends on how tight the liner sits in the bore, in my opinion and experience with similar, you need to hand adjust the liner to a good bore to get a perfect friction fit, otherwise accuracy will be poor.
I would agree with Geoff, 800 euros is a lot of money!
The barrel liner /tube must pass through the barrel without binding . The end of the liner is threaded on the O.D . The threads extend beyond the end of the barrel you must place the leather washer over the end of the liner and spin the hex nut on and tighten it to secure it within the barrel . This should keep it from any movement forward or rearward . Mine will keep 5 round groups in 3/4'' dia. at 50 yards .
