1870 Husqvarna Rolling Block sling

Good day! I recently came into possession of an 1870 Husqvarna Rolling Block -- not a milsurp, I know, but will have to do for now -- and the sling that came with it is a rather old and ratty leather one that looks like it will fall apart soon.

Do any of you fine gents or ladies know where I can find something period accurate for this rifle? Bonus points for a Canadian source but I am willing to go elsewhere.

Check ebay for slings for martinis and sniders. You should be able to use one of those and I have seen them from someone up north.

Er, how do you know? The Husqvarna and Carl Gustaf factories both made Remington Model 1867 Rolling Blocks under licence for the Swedish Army. Many of the RBs were sporterized after being taken out of military service, often simply by having the fore-end wood cut down. So the chances are good that, even if it looks like a sporter now, your 1870 RB is indeed an ex-military rifle.
