Maybe you could start the tradition locally - and see if it grows.
If not, at least you'd have it locally.....

That's not a bad idea at all.
We keep up the memory in our Mountain Troops Association, but the problem is a very strong detachment of the people from these topics. But it's right.
We (I) could certainly do more myself.
