The instructor stares in wonder at a lefty.
Bob
Classic coaching position. I'd get in a close as possible and when on the right side a hand in front of my eyes to avoid taking a casing in the eyes... As for the lefty, all is the same...and a fact of teaching.
Understanding the need to make as wide a platform as possible in the triangle but having your hand hard up against the front sling swivel will pound the cr*p out of an un-gloved hand, how do I know this through the lesson of hard knocks when full bore shooting resting the sling swivel as per pic and in full bore your trussed up tighter than a turkey at thanksgiving with allot of pressure on the front hand.
Yep kept drawing blood using my Omark with a B44 barrel on it kept at it until I could afford a shooting glove, tried band aids they lasted as much as 2 sighters then the blood just made them slip off.
Because I am a small fry if I adjusted to keep the hand away it altered the spread shortening the triangle which in turn had me to high up increasing the PWF plus every shot having to readjust the front hand to keep it from that bl**dy sling swivel.
