His music made a great influence on my life, especially as a young soldier in some dark holes on this planet, to be able to listen to the magic in his voice and think of home. I tried to emulate his playing of the guitar, but realised quite quickly his brilliance was unique.

The power of his words and songs touched the core, and melted one's heart, and made you realise, that things aren't going to be around forever!!

RIP Glen Campbell the very best........... and such a cruel way to say Adios!

The song Galveston, was a song about a young American soldier in Vietnam who missed his girlfriend and now worth another listen especially about the cleaning of his gun line!!:thup:

Yep RIP, another legend passes into history, but he will live on through his music long after we are forgotten.

Myself and a few mates got together for our monthly **** up on Saturday, we all ended up "murdering" Glen's songs until 3am in tribute ... My wife said murdering, I thought I sang like an angel, but I was very drunk to be fair!
