lee enfield? from where?

It's a Siamese, (Thailand), contract rifle made by BSA. They are sometimes referred to as "Wild Tiger" rifles. It looks like a pretty nice one. Most are in pretty rough shape having been through WWII in the jungle.

That trigger guard screw has seen some serious abuse.

Nice low serial number.
looks like original timber in good nick.
