Very nice indeed sir you have a good taste in self presents...........
Very, very nice indeed, No wonder Santa's Reindeer move so fast with old hooky prodding their arses!
I keep meaning to photograph my equally nice Naval marked 1910 dated Sanderson hooky.
My 1909 Wilkinson is just a few months after yours. My scabbard is A.C. 4 '11 and the unit markings are DT over R.389Attachment 89736Attachment 89737Attachment 89738Attachment 89739Attachment 89740
Nice, I had one and let it go before digital cameras were around...too bad. All the others too...
Congrats on a beautiful Christmas present to one's self.
My next best Hookey is a 1910 Sanderson.

I wonder how these survived with their Hooked quillions intact?
I always asumed the Naval examples just survived as ships equipment in the Armoury along with their Rifles.
Perhaps the admiralty weren't as rigid following WD orders.
If that's the case, are Naval examples the most commonly encountered?
I'd be quite happy with the second best........
