I bought a K98 and it has a lot of scratches on the side of the stock which kind of bother me. i am not considering refinishing the stock no matter what but is there some kind of way I can hide these scratches?

Not to get too far off point, but why would you want to? To me, each nick, dent or scratch is just a small story in its history.
I would generally agree but its more than just a scratch as you see. Its at least 30 different scratches in one small area, as if someone took a knife and just started slicing up the finish in that particular areaQuote:
