Books/Periodicals on Japanese Weapons

Good morning gents. This forum looked a bit naked, so I thought I'd ask if anyone knows of any books or periodicals regarding Japanese weapons? I don't recall seeing anything at local gunshows or on the net? Any guru's out there that can advise? Thanks.

The best book to start with is the already-mentioned "Military Rifles of Japan" by Honeycutt. After that, the next two books to get are "The Type 99 Arisaka" WTS: The T 99 Arisaka book, get one for the holidays! - Gunboard's Forums and "The Type 38 Arisaka" BANZAI&copy Special Project #8 - The Type 38 Arisaka

The type 99 Arisaka book has some good tables in it. Unlike other countries, which stamped the date of manufacture on their rifles, the japanese didn't. The records from the arsenals seemed to have disapeared, courtesy of the U.S. Army Aircorps, so tracking by series and serial number isn't as easy as looking up the number from records from other countries. The guys who wrote the type 99 book have put together a pretty good chart to determine year of manufacture.
