BTW, if you want to shoot a Luger (P08 or LP08), the advice from oldfoneguy is 100% correct. Any other bullet than the 124gn round nose causes stove-piping/feeding problems in my LP08, and anything with a muzzle velocity much over 320 m/sec will be hammering the knee-joint mechanism. That is one very good reason to replace the mainspring, as a tired spring lets the joint slam back too quickly. The best ammo (if you can find it) is made by Lapua and was specifically for Lugers, keeping within the 320 m/sec limit. It is also very expensive.
