Not 100% sure about Peruvians, but typically the 400 applies to the battle sight - can you flip up the rear & see a shorter range? :confused:Quote:

400m is the minimum on Peruvian Mausers with the Lange Vizier rear sight. Copied directly from the Germans with the Gewehr 98s.Quote:
