The aircraft come out ok... ish.
stg44? 1895's? I like the idea but the practicality of the matter (and legality) is probably another story.
Interesting ... There was an enormous amount of gear dumped into the sea after WW2.
From a UK perspective it was mainly munitions and aircraft. Both understandable I suppose as war time mass production had generated an enormous stock of munitions, far more than could be realistically and easily stored.
They used landing craft and aircraft carriers, headed off to the Western approaches and simply shoved aircraft off the decks of carriers and munitions chucked overboard.
It's fresh water and mud so maybe. The most of what is in the air on the second photo looks to be Daisy Red Rider BB guns...all of them.

"...aircraft come out ok..." Al doesn't corrode the same way steel does. Fresh water causes rust just as quick as salt water. It's about the amount of oxygen that matters. That's about depth.
