I said a bit earlier after I.D'ing RCS Schuler round in a post he had that I would snap a few of mine I have used a 303 round for scale so you get an idea. (All sizes in mm)

I added a old pic of my Nitro Express rounds will take some snaps of a few of them plus a few more metrics I have stuff hoarded and really have to get it out to remember what I actually have as books are my main passion this is a sideline but a rather expensive one the 600NE cost me $90/AU 6 years ago I also have a 700 Nitro case & 1000gn projectile will dig that out one day.
I also have a one of a kind "Professional Hunter" cartridge designed by Graham Williams a N.T buffalo hunter tour operator it had to go through ballistics with the police so they could categorize it. Cheers

CINDERS, really nice collection of some difficult to find metrics plus the excellent photos. It takes years to find some of these
cartridges. Trading with others and gunshows are good places to start, when I started collecting cartridges the local rifle range
was the best place at the time.

Your 5,7x42 SAKO is rare, do you have any details on this cartridge ? I have the 220 SAKO or 5,6x39mm Soviet.

Yes the little SAKO I have been through my books here inclusive of the COTW 14th Ed searched a tad around on the web an come up with "The .222 Remington is popular in Europe where it is known as 5.7×43. Sako was one of the first European makers to introduce .222 Remington rifles and cartridges, and German and Austrian hunters quickly adopted the .222 Remington for hunting smaller deer-sized game." then nothing else no write up or anything has anyone got any information on the little SAKO round.
However I did stumble across this site which may help others I have saved it.
