Mint No 4T w/ chest (Lot 1466 ) at last weekend’s Rock Island auction went for $9200.

Ouch.

I bid on the "Longbranch" No4 T but lowballed it. Almost have to double the hammer price by the time it lands on your doorstep here in Canada. Re....Canadian dollar....import costs....shipping etc.

Not totally sure but I think that No4T was Alan Cors’ weapon.

The petro-dollar isn't worth what it used to be and that trend is only going to continue.
