Thats a striking picture well composed, they certainly would be hoping some of those houses were intact with a roaring fire then again could become an artillery magnet with smoke coming out the chimney.....
Carrying duffle. Definitely not in artillery range.
Why would you shoot a village with smoke from the chimneys? People going about their daily life, not so? Pure waste of ammo.
