Gun Search
I read this morning that the White (?) House has announced that there will be an increase in security along the Mexican border. One of the main objectives is to stop the 'Southern flow of weapons, hand grenades and ammunition'.
Now, we all know where the vast majority of these items that the drug cartels
use are supplied from, so what happens if the border patrols can't find anything?
Is this an echo of the 'Weapons of Mass Destruction" line that was once fed to us?
Are they going to make public just what (if anything) they may find.
I doubt it.

If you were to want to take a little drive, I could take you for about 60miles along side the three strand barbwire cow fence that represents the international line with mexico/arizona.
I did this last year and so NO government entities along the road.
As a matter of fact, the fence was broken with numerous tire tracks coming out of mexico within a mile or two of the main B.P. station at douglas.
Don't let them kid you

by the way, the ffl thas was busted in phoenix for quote selling all those nasty things was just recently set free of all charges in that all sales were legal, what eventually happened to the firearms was not connected to him. A.T.F. didn't win this one.

So the Border Patrol will stop guns being smuggled south. I wonder if they are ever going to stop illegals and drugs coming north. Or maybe the gun smugglers don't pay off the right people in Washington.

Just more BO bs with smoke and mirrors.

I guess I will never understand why the US Government can send thousands of troops all over the world and can't protect our own borders.
Even this latest move is to protect Mexico from the US and not the other way around.

Why should the boarder patrol try to stop smugglers, human or otherwise, they just get thrown in prison for their efforts.

I just heard on the news that 90% of the drug cartels guns come from America, and that 50% of the drugs in America come from MEEE HeeeCooo. Now if those aren't compelling reasons for an attack from either side of the border, I don't know what is? Whose National security is more at risk given those kind of statistic's ?:sos::surrender::yikes::runaway:

On more than one occasion, there have been "incursions" into the U.S. by Mexicans wearing Mexican Army uniforms driving U.S. provided Humvees and armed with U.S. provided weapons which they fired at the Border Patrol.
It was and is speculated that they were and are providing security for smugglers.
I forgot to say that it is probable that most of the U.S. weapons in the hands of the criminals are sold to the criminals from vast quantities provided to Mexico by the U.S. and also sales by individual Mexican soldiers who desert and sell their issue weapons.

It has been mentioned in several places that for some reason the Mexican
government refuses to release the serial numbers of weapons captured from drug cartel members. Hmmmm. I wonder why?
Well, for my sins I work in Mexico. I'm heading back there on Tuesday (31st)
but fortunately I will be waaaay south of the border. They just kidnap rich people down there, so I should be safe!
